Conference Challenge of change: We are closing investments from the first fund, and are starting to raise the second, larger fund

Private equity (PE) funds bring significant added value to the companies they invest in, but also to their value chains and then to the wider economy. In the last four years, we at Provectus Capital Partners (PCP) have created regional leaders in dental medicine through Adria Dental Group and in private healthcare through Arsano Medical Group. We are building leadership position also in veterinary through Vetti Group. We invest in companies that are already successful, recognized on the market and led by experienced management. We unlock their full potential with financial leverage and our operational knowledge, said Igor Čičak, PCP CEO and Managing Partner to those gathered at the conference Challenge of Change organized by the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) and the Association of Pension Fund Management Companies and Pension Insurance Companies (UMFO).

"The beginnings were difficult because we had to gain the trust of investors and founders of the companies in which we wanted to invest. Now it's somehow easier. But in PE industry, you are always in a race against time. When you are in the fund raising process, investors are interested in the deployment phase, when the deployment starts, everyone is interested in returns. It is important to have a precise investment plan, which you must start implementing immediately after starting the fund. We are now at the end of the investments phase from the first fund and in that part we are focused on fulfilling our investment targets. We believe that we will show that in terms of returns we are in the upper part of the success scale in PE industry, with annual net returns of over 20 percent. It is important for us to continue investing in our portfolio companies, from which we are making regional leaders, and we are also starting to raise a new fund that will be larger, we are targeting over 200 million euros", said Igor Čičak.

The primary investors in the fund, Čičak revealed, are institutional investors, but in the new fund, PCP will be open to family offices and high net worth individuals.
